Easter is later this month and it's an "eggcellent" time to get outside and take in warmer weather!
When people think April, they’re usually thinking Easter, delicious treats, warmer weather and spending time with family and friends.
The beautiful season of spring is the perfect excuse to update your family photos too. There are blossoms on the trees and everything is starting to look much greener again, giving you a great backdrop.
Below are a few tips that will help you achieve the best possible outdoor shots:
1. Take advantage of the golden hour. The golden hour takes place about 15 minutes after sunrise or before sunset. It’s a time when the light is softer and warmer, resulting in incredible photos. If these times won’t work for you, try to avoid shooting in harsh, direct sunlight.
2. Have a plan. If you’re looking to take photos that you can print for your home, have a plan in place to ensure that you get the best possible photos. Where will you take your photos, what will you wear, and who needs to be there?
3. Get creative. If you have young children, Easter makes for an incredibly fun theme for a family photoshoot so bring in some color and a few props to liven up your photos.
4. Scout ahead of time. If you have a public location in mind, visit the area ahead of time so that you’re familiar with it and know where you want to take your photos.
Make this the month that you get out of the house and spend time with the people you love.
Hope you all have a great rest of the week!
